Bonide Mosquito Beater Plunks

Water soluble pouches provide the perfect delivery system for this natural mosquito larvicide. Upon dissolving, thousands of floating granules quickly and evenly release the Bti active ingredient bacillus thuringiensis israeliensis strain across the surface of any standing water.

Treating the water rather than the air is what separates this from a spray. Mosquitoes breed in standing water, so killing larvae before they hatch reduces the population at the source instead of chasing adults around a patio for an evening. Bti is a naturally occurring soil bacterium that targets mosquito larvae specifically.

Use it in rain barrels, birdbaths, ditches, low spots that hold water after a storm, unused pools, and the edges of ponds. In the Brainerd Lakes area, where standing water is everywhere after a wet stretch, this is the piece most yards are missing.
